I started OtterList to make it easier for us to find and support independent, sustainable brands.

After years of seeing billionaires and big corporations dominate so much of our shopping, I wanted to build something different.

I believe every dollar is a vote for the world we want to live in. But finding businesses that share our values can take a lot of work. OtterList brings them together in one place, with clear information about their products and the standards they meet.

We’re still building, and there’s a lot ahead. My goal is an ethical alternative to Amazon, built with a community that wants to make shopping small and sustainable part of everyday life.
